CTFWV – Coalition for a Tobacco-Free WV

About Us

The mission of the Coalition for a Tobacco-Free West Virginia (CTFWV) is to educate the public about tobacco-related issues and advocate for policies that reduce, with the intent to eliminate, tobacco use in West Virginia.

The CTFWV is a statewide organization made up of private citizens and member organizations representing a cross-section of West Virginia, including health care organizations, public and private businesses, schools, civic organizations and interested individuals.

Established in 1989, the Coalition’s efforts have resulted in significant public policy victories including expanded clean indoor air regulations, state tobacco prevention funding and increases in tobacco excise taxes.
